'First day of school...first day of school...' Jason kept repeating that same line over and over. Today was his first day of school. He quickly ate his breakfast, said bye to his mom, and ran to the school bus. The school bus also picks up 3rd graders so they had to make a few more stops. The bus stopped by the first house, Sky's house. Jason saw his friend Sky and waved at him. Sky smiled and quickly claimed the seat next to him. After they picked up all but one child, the driver spoke. "Today we have a new kid riding with us. I want you guys to make him feel welcome okay? He's a 3rd grader like half of you. He's new here because he just moved here from Spawn City."
The kids on the bus all smiled and agreed to welcome this new kid. Once the bus got to his house, the driver stopped and let him on. The bus driver said, "You can sit wherever you want okay?" Jason saw him and his faced flushed a light crimson red. The new kid saw Jason staring at him and smiled at him. His deep red eyes looking into Jason's blue one's. Jason snapped out of his trance when Sky nudged his shoulder. Sky spoke in a low enough voice for no one to hear but Jason. "Got a crush on the new guy or something?" Sky giggled. Jason quickly shook his head as his face went to a deeper shade of red. Sky looked at the new kid and called out, "Hey come sit with us!" Jason quickly looked up to see the new kid walking towards them.
The new kid gladly sat next to Sky and Sky got up and scooted Jason over to where he was in the middle and Sky was by the window. Jason's face was as dark red as the new kid's eyes. "S-So what's your name?" Asked Jason. "My name's Ty. What's yours?" Ty's voice, smooth and calming for a little kid. "Jason..." Said Jason hesitantly. Suddenly, the bus stopped at another house and a boy with glasses named Tyler jumped on the bus and squealed happily when he saw Sky. Sky looked up and saw the boy and quickly manuevered his way out of the seat him, Ty, and Jason were sharing. Sky quickly hugged the slightly shorter male and they both sat in a seat across from them. Ty whispered to Jason, "Are they like...together?" Jason nodded. "They've been best friends for a year. It all happened when Tyler accidently bumped into Sky." Ty's face lit up. "Tell me more!" Jason smiled and nodded. "Tyler was new to school and he didn't know where his homeroom was. Sky showed him where and turns out, they were in the same class. Months had passed and Tyler confessed that he liked Sky.
Everyone in the school knew about it, and they accepted it. They thought Sky and Tyler made a cute couple anyway. Then, a week had passed and Sky came to my house giggling like crazy." Jason paused for a little giggle. "What happened!" Ty asked impatiently. "After Sky greeted my mom, he ran up to my room, still giggling I might add, and burst in my room saying, he kissed me! Jason! Tyler kissed me!" Ty and Jason let out a laugh. The bus had stopped again but this time, they arrived at school. "Are you in Ms. Ender's homeroom?" Asked Jason. "Yes I am! We're in the same classes!" Said Ty with a smile. Jason smiled and the kids got off the bus. Ty and Jason saw Sky and Tyler holding hands and giggling all the way into school. Ty had hesitantly intertwined his hand with Jason's. "T-Ty...?" Jason's face turned crimson. "I...like you." Said Ty. Jason's face had turned a deeper shade of crimson. They walked hand in hand into school and to their homeroom.
Jason thought about Ty all day and it really distracted him from school. "Mr. Parks. Mr. Parks!" Jason snapped out of his thoughts to see Ms. Ender with a worried look on her face. "Oh sorry Ms. Ender." Said Jason. "Thinking of Ty? I saw you staring at him quite a bit while you were day-dreaming." Said Ms. Ender. Jason's face flushed deep red and he looked over at Ty whose face was the same shade of red. Jason hesitantly nodded and quickly hid his face in shame. "Oh don't worry Jason. I have to deal with that everyday with Sky and Tyler! It's just a normal case of love. Why don't you give Ty a tour of the school? It'll give you and him time to get to know each other. I'll let the other teachers know okay?" Said Ms. Ender. Jason smiled and nodded. Him and Ty got up and they walked out of the room, along with being followed by a few "aww's" and "they're so cute together!"
Jason and Ty had toured most of the school when Ty asked, "Can we go outside?" Jason nodded and led him out to the playground. They went over to the swings and Ty said, "Get on! I'll push you!" Jason smiled and sat on the swing and Ty gently pushed the swing forward. Then Ty got an idea and he stopped the swing's movement. Ty walked around and faced Jason, who had a confused expression. Ty was very light for his age so he walked forward a bit more and sat right on Jason's lap while he was still on the swing. Jason's face turned darker than a rose. "Hope you don't mind me sitting with you." Ty smiled at Jason. Jason quickly shook his head and hesitantly wrapped his arms around Ty's small waist to keep him from falling forward.
They're only 8 and they're already deeply in love?
Ty smiled and began to swing them back and forth. Jason smiled as well and leaned his head on Ty's shoulder. Ty turned his head and faced Jason. "Jason?" "Yeah Ty?" With that, Ty leaned forward and closed the gap between them. Jason's eyes widened. He's...kissing me! He's kissing me! It was a shock to Jason since he was only 8. Ty's lips tasted of the sweet flavor of candy. When Ty pulled away, Jason frowned slightly. Ty noticed and chuckled. "You're such a dork Jason." "But I'm your dork right?" Ty smiled and nodded, hugging Jason.
'Yes Jason, you are my little dork.'
